This trip features great Cutthroat fly fishing using a Jet Boat not only to the lodge but to get you to the tributaries of the Main Salmon River.  We will hike up these small streams looking for glassy pools where native Idaho Cutthroat await.  This is the perfect place to try your favorite 3 to 5 weight fly rods in the creeks as well as trying your luck with a 5 or 6 weight on the big waters of the South Fork only a mile from the lodge at Mackay Bar. See amazing natural wonders while fishing the River of No Return Wilderness with our experienced guides helping you explore miles of virtually untouched water.  You will have a chance at an occasional Rainbow and Bull Trout while targeting Cutthroat. After a hearty breakfast the guide will have you loaded up on the jet boat for a exhilarating trip to one of the tributaries.  Temperatures can be very warm in the afternoons when getting back to the boat most anglers enjoy a quick dip or a relaxing stop on one of the beaches for a cool drink.  Hiking up these streams are very productive for those not afraid of a bit of hiking and wading, while the fish are not huge the fish are plentiful and the scenery spectacular.
