How You Get Here?

All Ram House Lodge adventure vacations will enjoy a 25 mile jet boat tour of the Main Salmon River from the end of the road at Vinegar Creek. This exhilarating ride through the wilderness is packed with wildlife viewing, historic stops and photo opportunities while running the whitewater with one of our experienced and fun jet boat captains.

Walk and Wade Fly Fishing for Cutthroat

This trip features great Cutthroat fly fishing from the lodge only a mile hike to the South Fork of the Salmon River at Mackay Bar in the River of No Return Wilderness. We also have our experienced guides take you by jet boat to pristine and uncrowded tributaries of the Main Salmon River, offering miles of virtually untouched water to explore. Most fish caught are Rainbows, Bull Trout and Cutthroat trout. Most of the streams are within a short jet boat ride from the lodge. These streams are very productive for those willing to walk and wade, and while the fish are not huge the fish are plentiful.
